Think there's enough cars for 2 SAI museums?I'm going to the new Shelby LV this weekend and can post pics if folks want.
I thought that the collection in the old facility was a little week.

This will actually make 4 Shelby museums:
 1. At the Shelby American Collection in Boulder, CO
 2. The Shelby American site in Las Vegas
 3. The Larry H Miller collection at Miller Motorsports in Salt Lake
 4. The new museum in Gardena.

(And though not necessarily a formal museum, I think the Denbeste collection counts to some degree.)

It looks from the presence if CSX2299 (Daytona Coupe #13) in Gardena that Miller will also have a presence there. I don't know what this means to the Boulder site - there are only so many cars to go around.

The Boulder collection is fantastic. I'm going to LV tomorrow and I'll hit the new facility. I assume it's the same as the one by the Speedway.
The Miller museum is on the short list.
Gardena? Cool cars hang out there but some seem to go home at night. %/

For the first time ever, Harley has now started shipping some of the big V-Twin touring bikes with radiators, fans and WATER COOLED HEADS !!!!! The Harley purists on the Harley forum are all up in arms. The V-Twin still looks and sounds the same though. The cooling pipes are inside the heads and you cant even see them.
It pulled a lot of the heat out of the combustion chamber allowing them to take the compression from 9.2 to 10.0. Torque is way up.

Actually we are to five Shelby related museums already, another would make the sixth....the seventh if Lynn Park would open his place to the public! |

 | And this means, with the limited number of cars available, that those primary places (Shelby American Collection, Miller Motorsports) will be asked to move some of their stock elsewhere, and some of the people that left their cars at those two places will potentially place them elsewhere. This will generally reduce the concentration of cars to the point that any given museum might not be all that interesting. |
