A big thank you to Computerworks and Turk.

One of the things I intended to do, but lost during the pressure of being up at a mic at the Spring Fling, was that I really wanted to say thank you for all the great work that Turk and Computerworks have done over the last year. For those who don't know, they have contributed a lot of time to keeping this place a great place to hang out.

I very much appreciate the efforts you have put in, as do the rest of the members here. You guys have been the best, and thank you for being such good friends as well. The time spent with you guys at the fling will not be forgotten.

Amen to that.

Screw them both, as they are just a couple of nerds, one from the left and one from right.

Ditto from Down Under, a fantastic site that has helped me compleate my Cobra project and make some great friends along the way.
BIG THANK YOU.

Brent,

What the hell have they done?

Kept all of us in line and not allowed any upstarts. Even Evan is still hanging around cause of them. :3DSMILE:

I guess you are right. This forum remains great because of their efforts, and yours. Good job. :D

Wilf-They both know how I really feel about them, or they really are nerds. I don't want them to get too puffed up about the grand scheme of things, so hence my post. Are you over the crud/gout, or whatever Turk gave to all us in London? I am going to send him my medical bills. He should have warned us, and we could have stayed out of his room and had him quarantined. Must be a Kalifornia thing or perhaps something he picked up as a bus driver/tour guide or whatever he claims he did in Arkansas. Hope all is well with you and it was truly a pleasure to meet and chat with a gentleman from my homeland.

Being serious only for a moment of time...gentlemen both.;)

Excaliber 07-07-2003 12:32 AM

,,,,a moderator with a VW and NOT a Cobra? Is that possible?

:D

I remember when for a short space of time I was "Cobra Less" and boy did I catch hell for it. It's Pay Back time! :JEKYLHYDE

Good job guys.

Wayne,

I caught this thread a little late but I did notice you are back to your old self again. Now I know what to expect.

Turk and Computerworks:

Thanks for your contributions to this site. Behind the scene work usually goes un-noticed, so it was nice that Brent raised a toast to you guys.....mind if I drink mine a little later today?

Wayne - it took a visit to the doctor and some industrial strength anti-biotics to cure whatever Turkish malaise the VW driver passed on to me.

Whilst it lasted, breathing was not easy, nor speaking, nor swallowing, nor any other normal respiratory action, and I hesitate here to describe the stuff that I expelled. Let's just say it was not nice. The only thing it did not do was change my gaseous output - that remained high as ever.

I hold Turk 100% responsible for my suffering, a law suit is being prepared.

Good to meet you too, don't be a stranger you old fa*t you.

PatBuckley 07-10-2003 08:35 AM

Well I guess it is time to thank all you guys also......but I must say that if this forum wasn't around I would be at least 10% more productive -

Then again, because without all the stuff I have learned from this place, I would be 10% poorer!

Thanks,

Pat

Wilfie-good show. That Turkish devil deserves what he gets. I smell a class action against him. Maybe we can get it tried in England with a proper jury.

Clois-Thanks and keep the car together and I will see you in October at R & G. Maybe we can get Ron and Turk to join us.

Ron ,Turk, Roscoe, Jamo, Club Cranky and All The GasHoles:

How about comining to Run and Gun this year. There is a party you have been missing. Bring the RAKI!!

Wayne, How about going to Road America with us September 4-7? However, if you don't come I have a much better chance of a $5 trophy since we are both big blocks.
