The Rodder's Journal Does A Ford Windsor Cobra Engine
Hi Guys:
The wonderful quarterly magazine The Rodder's Journal in their latest quarterly issue does a Ford Windsor engine build pictoral. Written and photographed by Joe Kress, this article boasts some of the best photography of a Cobra Windsor engine I have ever seen to date. The smallblock engine was polished, painted and is shown with two variants of intakes. A true work of art! No pun intended... ahem. The Rodder's Journal #25 (Spring 2004) has this article. www.roddersjournal.com is their website and subscriptions are available. Back issues are very hard and dear to come by. If you have not seen this publication, I would look into it. A higher quality magazine which documents rodding and customization in both word and wonderful photography is not to be found anywhere. Each issue is about 120 pages in length. There is virtually NO advertising in the magazine with the exception of about 10 pages (front and back pages of the issue). It is square bound and the paper is excellent quality and the covers are thick gloss stock. You can sometimes find this magazine in Borders or other fine book stores in the magazine area. It is not cheap but well worth it IMHO. |
