18,000 miles - it will be fun. Now if I can sleep through the flight that will be 14,000 or so of the miles covered. Now I did promise 2 x 40oz bottles of Rum. You may only get one. I'll need the other to ensure a good sleep...:LOL: Bernie |

The only car 'donated' at no cost was the KMP and we still paid for many items to finish it. DV (1) Classics Roadsters SOLD us a kit at a much reduced rate. DVII-FFR SOLD us the Ripeppi car at a reduced rate, DVIII- KMP, DV IV, was of course the original DV which was also paid for 'strictly' out of raffle funds, as all the cars were. Every manufacturer, including myself, knew their was a risk going in...if we did not make enough money on their car or kit, they simply lost. A small side note that I do not think a lot of people realize is that 'SHELL VALLEY" was all set to actually donate a cobra kit at least for two of the DV events but we were unable to accept only because the Kirkham family beat them to the punch and of course for DV IV we just did not have time to try and organize with them and attempt a successfull raffle with the short time we had. Just so you know the facts this time. DV |
