Looks like a nice fall drive. Was up at Heenan three weeks ago in the daily and actually caught a few cutts. Drove south on 395 and did real good on the East Walker and had a nice fall drive home. 209

Hey Phil

Few of us Gary.C / Ron.C / Don.S took the Cobras and went to Sweetie Pies in Placerville yesterday (Sunday) morning for breakfast. Then headed up to Pollock pines past Sly Park lake and drove out Morgan Imigrant trail to HWY 88 then past Silver lake over Carson Pass down Past KirkWood Ski resort and down into Hope Valley. It was absolutly spectacular day the tree's turning color was awesome. The smell of the pine tree's and the camp fires burning from the campers, fresh clean crisp air WOW. We too stopped at Sorensons. The sites were so awesome we turned around and went home the same way it was a perfect Cobra drive day. Put well over 200 miles on the cars yesterday:cool:
I forgot my Camera I was so excited to get rolling sunday morning. Gary.C had his SLR Digital but found his batteries dead when we went to use the camera:CRY:

Ready to go again soon:3DSMILE:

Dan,

I'm afraid after tomorrow there won't be much to see - high winds are predicted.

GT390FE 10-26-2009 08:23 PM

Yeah your probably right Phil. Feather River Canyon is another run I want to do. Not sure if that will happen before winter sets in. Next spring for sure.:D
