Snow in El Dorado Hills

It's not a big deal further Highway 50, but in El Dorado Hills (~ 20 miles east of Sacramento) at 800', it is a bit unusual...anyone for a drive?

A grade of "A" for having the balls to drive a classic Mustang in horrible weather. :)

And also a grade of "F" for having the audacity to drive a classic Mustang in horrible weather.

We got significant snow here in Citrus Heights, at less than 100 feet. First time in my twins' lives and they went bananas this morning. Mom is in Maine this week, where they just got their first snow - I was twitting her about sending us the snow.

First time in at least 20 years, unless my memory is snowed in. It's come close a few years, hitting at the upper edges of Roseville, but never this far down. Cool. Cold even.

What?

What's the matter, Dean?
Too cold for even you!

39 degrees when I left for breakfast on Saturday morning. Luckily, only a little fog and dew in the Santa Cruz Mountains...no snow!

I was out all day on Saturday in the Cobra Christmas shopping. Very cold, but fun has hell!

Stopped at a drugstore to pick up stocking stuffers. On my way out with the stocking stash, a guy and his teenage son came over and asked if they could listen to me start my Cobra. The father said they were watching the parking lot for about 15 minutes, debating who was going to walk over to the Cobra in the parking lot. They decided I was the only one "cool looking" enough to be the owner.

Wow! Been a while since I've been "cool". Actually, I'm not sure I ever really was---I just thought I was.

It was pretty cold on Saturday. Maybe they said I was the only guy that looked "cold enough"...

I was at C&C on Saturday and you weren't. So there!

P.S. I had more layers on than a cake. It wasn't that bad except for the face. I guess after six years owning this thing I'm starting to get more comfortable in worse and worse weather.

Still no snow in So Cal, but 40's is cooooold here.

You made their day Doug.......How often can a Father and young son share that? They will remember and talk about that for years. Just like when "We" now recall when we saw our first Cobra.

I'm supposed to get about a foot of snow over night. Hope the wife can operate the snowblower. My left arm is in a sling. Second shoulder surgery this year! Only drove my c*bra 4 times this year. I might put power steering in this spring. Jim
