Radiator Shop

Any recommendations on a good radiator shop in the Sacramento/Roseville area? My aluminum radiator has a leak that appears to be dead-center. I can't see exactly where it is coming from but the anti-freeze makes it easy to determine the approximate location.

Thanks in advance.

I once bought a product from a circle track supplier that was a round plastic (like 3/16" welding rod) that was to be "wicked" into a small pinhole after heating with a heat gun. Quick and worked well. The thin wall of the core will not normally accept the heat from any sort of torch. Maybe call a manufacturer and ask their recommendation too.

There was a really good shop called Capital Radiator in downtown Sac. but they went out of business, i know because i was workihg there when the owner died and his wife shut the place down.........
You might have a hard time finding someone fix an alum. rad.....
if you know which tube is leaking then you can pinch that tube
off where it goes into the header/tank on both sides......
thats probably what a shop will do because those tubes are real thin
and they would burn away when you put a torch to them.

Problem resolved - a tube of granular Silver Seal ($1.99) took care of the leak.
