Christmas Toys for Children In the spirit of Christmas and Justin (Hoof Hearted) I would like to propose we again round up the Cobra gang to deliver toys and bring some loud cheer to those kids who are in local hospitals. Like the years past, we met at Perko's near Bradshaw . . . or another accessible area for breakfast on Sat Dec 25. Wearing Santa outfits or reindeer horns have been part of the tradition. I can contact Sac area hosptials... perhaps Shriners, UCD, Sutter etc. Dec. 2 is Christmas Day. Let me know what you think. Happy Holidays to All **) Ron |

Ron, I'm OK with everything except the date. Let's have it on the 18th... our regular meeting date. I'm sure everyone already has plans for the 25th. By the way I just got back from a fun ride. Brisk, but the best day of the week so far. I've been getting a little stir crazy since before T'day. Bob |

Sounds great! 18th works better for us too...... |

Hey Ron, If you get a chance, you might sync up and partner with PGermond / Phil. You guys are thinking the same thing the past few days. He called last night and today, just before you made this post. FYI - I believe Phil has already made contact with some folks at Sutter, if the group wants to return there; but they were asking for a day when more clinical stafff are on hand to help with the kids and presents; he may have said the 19th; but you'll want to hear from him directly. Unfortunately, I will be unavailable that weekend, but plan to give a few toys to Phil to submit wherever you guys go. You are the man Ron - Merry Christmas! |

Ron - We need to talk......... I have already contacted the hospital and have some plans in place. A post on this forum will be made today with the details! Thanks. |

I have been looking forward to this event all year. Especially having our 4 year old son Matthew (nick name MPH) omitted in that same Sutter hospital just a few weeks after last years event with a potential brain tumor. I am looking forward to bringing my freshly completed FFR and family. Brian |

Unfortunately, we'll be in the Bay Area that weekend, but if it's on Saturday, we may be able to squeeze it in. If not, we'll be sure to give our toys to someone to hand in for us. Ron & Phil, thanks for taking the lead on this. Danny |
