Cobra'S

The Supersnake is a Mustang I will take my Cobra over the Supersnake any day of the week. There are plenty of Cobra's out there that will blow the doors off a Supersnake and a Cobra is much purtyer, thats my opinion.

They should have used Blitz's Cobra!

Great Video! I will take my Cobra over the Supersnake, however I have a work car for commuting.

That cobra needs another driver, I've done better than that on crappy street tires and missing shifts.

Maybe they should have raced the "fiberglass slabside Cobra (replica) with an automatic in it", the one the guy at the end of the video was referring to, and let him drive it instead. Might have been a much closer race then.

Cobra

They didn;t want to beat the Supersnake twice, thats why they did't put slicks on the Cobra, an the driver wasn't worth a damn.

Greg Schroeder (sometimes on Cobra Club) has a YouTube video of his car doing a 10.89 with the same car, same motor as mine, but with drag radials.

You can't push 4000 lbs down the race track without drag slicks and HP. Having the extra 200HP on the big end didn't hurt the Stang either.

I don't seem to recall the Stang running those slicks on the road course......

If the Cobra had 11" SLICKS he would have killed the mustang in the drag race.
