Daffodil Hill

Missed the El Dorado Saloon meet due to family commitments..... but we did make it up to Daffodil Hill on Sunday. Stopped on the way back in Sutter Creek for lunch.

Beautiful scenery Phil! Are you going to be able to make Homecoming this year?

pgermond 04-18-2011 05:45 PM

Good to hear from you. No, unfortunately I am not. However, I spoke with Phil Souza and we are discussing the possibility of making it back to Alabama next year. Pretty much depends on the date.

We missed you guys, Phil, but it looks like you had a beautiful ride.

Thanks, Maurice. I was looking forward to seeing you and everyone else, but had family business to tend too. It was a great day for a drive in the hills.

It was a beautiful day for a drive in the foothills, didn't make it to Daffodil Hill but had a great lunch at the Union Pub in Volcano. Sorry we missed you guys.

Huh  What time did they open? We were there around 11:30 and it was closed up tight.

I think they open at 12 noon on the weekends. Don't worry there are still plenty of nice spring days and lots of great country roads to explore.

We saw you two coming through town on your return from DH. We were probably one of many cars that beeped at you at the stop light, you and Sandy were wondering who the heck was that beeping at us.
