I hope to make this event the second Saturday. Lets know how it goes. Thanks Bernie |
Nice! It's finally gonna happen here too. This is good news for our area. A few of my buddies down in Socal do C&C regularly too. It's a big deal down there.
Below is the specific link to this C&C event page for May 3rd C&C. Interesting, in the caption it states they won't be moving venues. {EDIT} Another option for NorCal Cobras! Go to: Cars and Coffee Sunday May 3rd in Folsom , , , , |
Duane,
If you read the large print on the notice it says... Every Saturday. This is apparently not just a monthly meet up, but a weekly event from this Saturday until November. Bob |
Good to know Bob. Thanks for the clarification!
|
It's over at 9:00 am. That's when I get up.:o Yikes!
|
I can't make this weekend, but next week... I'm there!
Are you going to show up in your PJ's Jim? Bob |
hahaha.
Well, Cars and Coffee will never conflict with any of the NorCal Cobras breakfasts on the 3rd Saturday. C&C is already finished by the time we get started. Early birds can do both! |
O.K. Duane, we'll double down on the 17th.
Bob |
not this weekend but next for sure

Going to see Steve's bad motor scooter entered at the Quail in Carmel on the 17th. We'll catch ya next month. :) |
Went to C&C this morning. Very small turnout. They might want to consider doing it once a month (1st Saturday) until they build up attendance before they split off to weekly. Also, people will plan for it if they do it once a month. Gotta start somewhere I guess...:)

For insomniacs 6:30AM is perfect. **)**):JEKYLHYDE

Wow, that is early. I got up at 6:30 once... it wasn't good :)
I'm glad they're trying to do this here. While I've never been to the SoCal one, I've heard about it. I'll shoot for the one on the 10th. I may not be there at 6:30 though :) |
i will be going just to see who shows up this saturday...

They meet from 06:30 to 09:30. If you sleep in and show up at 8:30 or so, I bet you'll still have plenty of time to see all the cars. |

Another small turnout today but it's picking up steam hopefully as all there said it's a great idea. Good to meet a few members today, thanks for coming out to support this event. Rob, I am still drooling over your engine compartment--beautiful.

I agree, it was a small turnout, but good folks and an interesting assortment of cars. I gotta say that having this event in the early morning is going to be great as the weather gets warmer. My drive in was perfect... I watched the sun come up as I left home and by the time I got to Folsom it was time to ditch the jacket and sweater.
I definitely think attendance will improve as more and more people find out about this event. Thanks for setting up Cars&Coffee in Folsom. Bob |
Bob--it was nice to meet you and great car you have. I'll be at Sears Point this Saturday for the Vintage races but back at it again the following weekend.
