Backdraft Cobra owners (NorCal or Bay Areas)?
Referrals appreciated, for a friend : wants to see 2013 to 2015 BDR.
I have a buddy who wants to take a look at a newish late model Backdraft Cobra (2013-2015) production model in the Northern California region anywhere from as far north as Redding to Sacramento, and will travel south as far as Monterey if necessary. I referred him over to Reg at BDR directly, but those guys are not answering the phone lately... so he wants to look at one up close before committing to buying a roller. Reply here or send me a PM here on CC if you can. Thank You. |

I happen to know someone who has a newish Backdraft. Perhaps we could arrange schedules to meet your friend. Patrick |
Hi Pat,
that sounds great. I'll send you a PM. Finally reached Reg's father Frank to get the latest. They were on the road at a show.Have not talked with those guys since the last year of WSCB in 2008 when they came out from Florida. Apparently the last big set of changes on the BDR cars was five years ago, including wider front/rear fenders on the body, different seats, gauges, among other things. My friend is possibly interested in a new roller and needing to understand whether the regular 3-series or "M" suspension will be needed to handle 500/500 hp and torque. Hopefully we can figure some of this out then. Thanks. |
