Good Afternoon All:

We saw Murray at Cars & Coffee yesterday morning, and he had what we thought was a great idea. Next weekend is the 3rd Saturday of the month, traditionally NorCal Cobras Saturday, and he suggested that anyone available attend Cars & Coffee, that we leave about 9:00 AM and have breakfast, and then do a cruise around the lake. He didn’t specify the lake, but I presume he meant Folsom and not Tahoe. Anyone interested?

On a related note, I’m not sure if you saw the Bay Area Cobra Club posting for a Monterey run from 5/3/19 to 5/5/19. We’ve registered and are going to attend, and it involves a drive to Monterey, secure parking and accommodations at a hotel in Seaside, and then either a cars ‘n coffee type show at Laguna Seca, which I believe is hosting historic racing that weekend, or a wine tasting tour if you are so inclined. If you’re interested the details are posted on the Bay Area Cobra Club forum on Club Cobra. Love to have anyone who’s interested join us - the BACC organizer noted that because of all the great restaurants in Monterey everyone is on their own for dinners, and it could be fun to get a group together for some food, drinks and war stories.

As I think I posted previously, we’re also doing Cobra Day at The Cobra Experience on 6/1/19; the Dreams & Drivers show at Red Hawk Casino on 6/23/19 - all proceeds go to Pancreatic Cancer research; and Hot August Nights, but we’re staying and participating at The Peppermill resort, not downtown.

Hope everyone is well, and let us know if you’re interested.
