April Nor-Cal Breakfast (Greater Sacramento Area)

The April 16th breakfast will be another try (rained out last month) at The Ridge Golf Club, 2020 Golf Course Road in Auburn at 9:00am with a short cruise (22 mi.) to the Empire Mine in Grass Valley after breakfast.

I will TRY to make it.

Looks like the weather is going to oblige this month, so I plan on attending unless something unforeseen comes up.

pgermond 04-15-2005 07:54 AM

Is this still a go?

Don DePontee 04-15-2005 09:53 AM

With this great weather, you bet it's a go. See you there.

 Does anyone have a contact/e-mail for "Bill" that was at breakfast this morning. He drives an FFR and lives in Placerville. BTW - there was an open track event at Thunderhill today, which explains the light turn out.

Thanks!

Nor Cal Al 04-16-2005 04:58 PM

Phil, you might check Don's e-mail list. "Bill" might be on it.

Things did not go so good today. Some got left behind getting on the fwy and some got off at Meadow Vista for some unknown reason. Don't know if anyone got to GV except me.....So much for organization.

Don DePontee 04-16-2005 09:03 PM

Hi there Al, there were only about 4 of us that got to the Grass Valley event. The reason a few (myself incuded) missed the exit was beacuse the first 5 or 6 cars that hit the highway nailed it all the way to 100 MPH+!!! I could not catch up enough to even see them on the highway and I was doing 90! So much for following the organized plan!

Don/Phil,
Sorry I did not make it today. I wanted to. Been working all week on last minute prep docs and so many other things before we go to Reno tomorrow to confirm final arrangements.

We'll be doing the WSCB drive too using the drive plan and making all the stops too. Closing in now... :)

I'm still on hwy 50 where did everyone go? Just kidding. Run was fun and the sun was hot.

Just want to give a thanks to all the cobra owners that made it to the gv fair and show my son what a cobra run is all about. FUNNNN.

Thanks
