Dennis, You beat me by a few hours....Time to start the banter over this Saturdays breakfast. How about Auburn this time? There is The Ridge Golf Club or Auburn Airport (Just down the street from The Ridge. Last months meet at 8 A.M. with eats at 8:30 worked out well with the current temperatures. Please RSVP here so we can get a headcount. Can Don please sent out an E-mail to the Grass Valley folks. Where is Don?????

I'm going to have to pass this time. I've already taken a tongue lashing from Maurice at "jdogs" unveiling for bailing out - but I've got duties to perform for winter preparation (aka - cutting wood up at the cabin).
You guys have a blast and post photos. I'm planning on the September dinner cruise, if that is still planned. Maurice - finally sold that Tahoe today.... only took nine months!! |
OOOPPS, switched servers again.....For those of you that missed it(80 or so viewers), we had a great get together this morning at the Auburn Airport-Wings Cafe. Small group but great social time. See you next month.

Sorry I missed it.:( Did you go for a drive after breakfast? The problem I had starting turned out to be a bad ignition switch (Lucas Model 47SA). I had to replace it with a universal switch. The new switch looks way out of place. I tried to get another Lucas from Superformance but was told they are no longer available. Superformance now uses a universal switch on all its later cars. Oh well! If only the bezel from the Lucas would fit the new switch all would be well, but alas, one is fine thread while the other is course. On another note, has anyone heard from Don? I was browsing on the Cobra Promotions site and was reminded that we had picked a NorCal Cobras Logo sometime back. As I recall, Don was going to look into the feasibility of arranging for some NorCal Cobras apparel. I wonder what happened. Anyway, I'm back on the road and looking forward to the next get together.:) |
