I was there just for Saturday. It was very cool. Tons of cool cars, lots of great people. It was a great motivator to get my car finished. :)

Justin,
Nice to hear you are motivated to finish the car. I am still hoping to EVENTUALLY buid one, probably a coupe. Did you take any photos??

Hoof Hearted 05-23-2007 07:32 AM

I got a few pics, but they are all of blue cars, as I am still trying to decide on which shade of blue I will be painting my car. I really like the color on the Sofast coupe:

BTW, this car has a 347, with an SC at 20 pounds of boost, they will be attempting a new speed record at Bonneville. The goal is 250 mph. **)

Justin,
That is a nice shade of blue. I have seen several really nice shades of blue over on the FFCobra.com site also. I am usually hanging around the coupe forum with occasional ventures into the others when there is an interesting post there.

It was fun , I just wish i had not been speeding to the race track when I got my non moving speeding violation (83 in a 70) .Thats right non moving violation. Another $67. for nothing. Thanks NHP. Down Mt. Rose Highway to Lake Tahoe with Cobras as far as the eyes could see. Great ,just GREAT.More cobras in one place than I have ever seen(at Squaw and the 5th floor parking garage we called home). Till next year.Too COOL. Peter.

Oh , that daytona made such a sweet sound.Very crisp and loud and a nice blue.Best blue for me had to go to low and wide JBL .I think it was cobalt blue.

Hoof Hearted 05-23-2007 01:05 PM

Yeah that coupe sounded awesome, very loud. And I got pics of the JBL also, very nice. I've got a whole lot of sanding to do before actually getting to paint, so there is time to decide. :)

Thanks for the pic Don. Haven't seen you around in a long time. You might remember me, I am the one who came to the breakfasts with my baby boy.

That Daytona is Farra Snook's; reportedly 1250HP as you all saw and heard first hand. Nasty sounding is right. I understand he is planning to take the car to Bonneville to see about a record in August. It might worth a trip down there in August just to see it go.
