Maurice,
The offer still stands - let me know if I can help. Al, I'm headed for the hills the 7th....... no plans at this point for the following weekend or the 3rd Saturday. |
Good with me- any thought of where? We should try to stick with the 3rd Saturday, eve if we add a run earlier.
|
Steve,
As far as I'm concerned the 3rd Saturday is a given (no changes). With the temps starting to reach into the 100's I'll be reverting to Plan "B"..... evening drives :D |
I'm with Phil and Steve on the 3rd Sat as fixed. I just thought that early on (any) Sat is usually cool, especially up here in the foothills.
The Ridge or Auburn Airport are good and we could go up hwy 49 and parts of hwy 20. My "Better Half" has a seminar on the 7th that's why I put it in as the lead date! Otherwise I get to work on my deck project.......You know which is the most fun..."Cobra (er., Calgon) take me away" AL |
How about a cruise down Hwy160 to Antioch or Rio Vista.
|
I've never been on that route...It's going to be "roast your toastees" on my way home to Grass Valley.......
|
Anybody in for Sat bkfst.......Auburn, Roseville, Folsom, Lincoln?
|
I'm game for any of your choices. Any specific restaurant you had in mind?
|
Pick one, I'm good wherever. Let's try for a little earlier than 9am, 8:30 or so???
|
Has there been a decision as to where, when and what time?
|
I agree, the earlier the better. Would be nice to beat the heat of the day.
Why don't we shoot for Roseville this time around? Not famiure with the in the restaurants in the area, so someone else pick one. |
Sorry , I've been distracted...Heat and a deck project...How about Brookfields off Hwy 80 and Eureka (one off East of Douglas) in Roseville at 8:30? From the west, exit Eureka and go through the light. On left behind Shell station. I won't be able to confirm your return messages so I am going one way or another. Hope to see you there. I need a deck break, er Cobra break!

Thanks for a great time at breakfast and the push start. :D Made it home okay. Now to tear apart the car and replace the voltage regulator. :(
|
I'll second that!
It was a great time.
Nice cool morning drive, great group of people. I thought I was going home to get the trailer for a minute there, but Rodney's car started right up! I'll see you guys next time. jdog:) |
See what happens when I'm not looking...I miss one ride and Jdog actually makes it to one. And here I thought you were just a figment of my imagination.....:D
Catch ya'll on the next one. Maybe it'll be an evening run, yes? |
