Next Euro-Sunday 2/24/08
Wow, I was really blown away at the last Euro-Sunday. I had no idea how really cool it would be. I'm glad I forced myself to go with an hour to spare last Sunday when I did after reading Mr. Monsters post. Everyone was really nice and open to conversation to speak cars. There were a few NORCAL folks there too. Some of the Cars there were just off the hook awesome. Just about every make of Euro car was represented. I'll be there on the 24th for sure. -John

Hell, the 2 Porsche Carrera GT's sitting side by side were worth close to a mil! The row I was in, had 2 original Shelby's & an 07 Ferrari!:cool: jdog P.S. Those fancy Porsche's sure weren't very impressive sounding leaving the lot, had a whine like an RC car! Duane, how'd my car sound?;) |
Sounds like a fun event. I planned to go and got about half way. The car had been sitting for a long time and it took a while to get it started. The battery was about dead when it finally started. I took off and the car ran fine but I needed to get gas and so I stopped after about 25 miles. The car wouldn't start and very quickly the battery was dead. I got my wife to bring jumper cables but it still wouldn't start. After fooling around with it for about 1.5 hours and trying to start it numerous times it finally started. Drove home and it ran fine. I assume the gas was just stale and it took a while to get fresh gas to the carburetor. Oh well, I'll try to make one of the future events.
