Very well done.

:D

No, I didn't make them. Almost did though. I was going to get an english wheel (still may) and fab them, but got lazy and found a guy that makes them for FFRs'. A fellow in Maine makes them for FFR Cobra bodies only. It's the only pattern he has and it's basically a hobby (one man operation and on his weekends) of his. If you had an English Wheel and the car to fit them to you could probably do a set in a few weeks. Very time consuming and labor intensive. Find a local fabrication shop with an English Wheel and they could probably make a set for you, but you would need to leave the car with them for fitting. Harbor Freight Tools sells a decent English Wheel that would do the job, but it's the size of a small refrigerator. -John

Very coo John. Are those new pipes also? I thought yours were white last time I saw you. You gonna head up hwy 50 with us on Thursday? ED

I guess I can't spell cool..... not cool,,, ED

jperickson2001 05-13-2008 11:53 PM

Same pipes as last time, but ceramic coated. I was going to go white ceramic coat but it cost 1/3 more money than all the other colors! AND it has the lowest thermal resistance and durability. The silver was my fall back position. So far I love it. Ron and I are going to beat the heat and leave Sac around 8am or so and get the tech inspection out of the way up there. That way if we need to do something we can take care of it before track day. -John

Have a nice cool drive. We're not leaving until 1:00 from Folsom. I'm sure we're gonna melt in the heat. I think you're thinking is smart. ED
