Eurosunday featuring Shelby 7/13/08
Hello all,
Eurosundays featured marque this sunday, 7/13 is Shelby, Saleen, and Hi Performance Fords. It would be great to get a bunch of Cobras, Daytona Coupes, GT40s, etc out there. It will take place at the Peets Coffee on Douglas Blvd, Granite Bay, California (Near Sacramento, Roseville). 8am - 10:30 with a drive to be announced at about 10am. For those that have never been to a Eurosunday event it is a great time. Fantastic cross section of exotics and vintage from all marques. Plus a bunch of car people just hanging out talking cars. Deb and I will be there if we heal from the ride(s) Sunday. 34 years of Motocross and Marathons and I don't think I ever pulled this pirticular set of muscles in my neck and upper back. Deb too! Much more violent (for lack of a better term) than expected.
Completely different feelings from the late model Mustang and the GT-350. Deb is still raving and calling all her friends. I have a new respect for all those (slow appearing from the stands) race cars. Now I get it!!! Crossing this one off the bucket list....but don't be surprissed to see lurking in the shadows hoping for another ride. I don't think I need my high blood pressure meds anymore. If I didn't blow an artery yesterday, I'm good! Please tell Gordon thanks again for us............Tom/Debbie |

Go ahead and bring it! Luckily it has lots of seating for all the hotties that will want to ride in that sexy rig! They might even let you lead the drive. :LOL: Tom, Glad you and Deb enjoyed the rides. The GT350 really gives you an appreciation for the guys that drove those things for real back in the day. Don't worry about having to lurk in the shadows. If you are there and we have an empty seat you are in. Hope to see you sunday. |

FYI: A few of us from the US 50 side are meeting and departing at 07:30 a.m. from Peets in Folsom on East Bidwell near Blue Ravine, heading to Peets in Granite Bay. Anyone is welcome to join us for the short drive over. DC |
