Preferences in Windwings or Visor hardware

I've read a lot of posts on the forums about installation and material types of windwings and visors - thanks! None of the vendor sites I've visited say anything about their particular hardware or mounting style, etc. I'm wondering whether there is a brand or source which has an advantage over any other...I'm imagining the distance from the windshield frame might make a difference or the ease of rotation, the position stiffness (adjustable on all?), etc. might make a difference. Are they all pretty much uniform or will I find some to have distinct dis/advantages right out of the box?

P.S. Maybe I SHOULD get some cheaters, I thought that thumbs-down sign was a question mark and I can't seem to edit it out!

Thanks!

Dirk

Finish Line - good product

I went with Finish Line. The install was easy, but keep in mind that my upper hardware is flipped because I have a Whitby soft top. Check out the pics and good luck.

I never did like the stamped metal hinge on the wings. I would like something that is finished a bit nicer. They're propably all the same as there is probably only one vendor making these things;

except the Kirkhams, leave it to them to make some sort of billet titanium/alumimum/chrome allow that is light as a feather, hard as a rock, and looks like a million bucks.
