Second Annual Cobra and Classic Car Show

2nd Annual BBQ for Babies, Classic Cars and Cobra Show

April 17th, 2009 11:30am-2:00pm
Cisco Building Parking Lot
2868 Prospect Park Drive
Rancho Cordova, CA 95670

The BBQ is a fundraiser to support the March of Dimes (March for Babies), and the excellent work they do in promoting excellent health for all babies, particularly those born prematurely. Hot Dog lunches will be available for $5, with proceeds donated to this great cause. We will also have music by our own DJ Cheri, so it will be a nice afternoon break for all. All Classic Cars are welcome.

Last year Cisco was able to donate over $100,000 to the March of Dimes through activities like this and fundraising by the individual employees, and our goal this year is $185,000. Thank you for donating your time to help make our event a success

Please let us know if you will attend so we can get an accurate count for show parking.

Thanks,
John & Cheryl

"Furlough Friday" is any day you want now. But who want to take a "furlough Wednesday"?

John, sounds like a worth while cause. I will be there for support. Question, does Cheri your DJ do other events? If so, what does she charge and would she be available to do the music for our car show on May 2nd.

Don

Hi Don,

Thanks for your support. Cheryl works for Cisco and this is their local event to raise money that is added to all of Cisco's donation. When you are there we can hook you up with her event coordinator, I'm sure she can help with your show.

See you next month. Thanks again.

John

This show sounds like a great cause and good way to have fun and support it at the same time but WHY not do this on a Saturday or Sunday as that would certainly get a lot more interest, cars, and money there? Friday is a hard one to do for most of us. Too bad for us, as a lot of folks just can't do a Friday show even though they would love to support it otherwise.. Maybe next year?

Thanks to John and Cheryl for the invite. Many nice cars, people showed up for a good cause, and it was a nice way to spend a sunny afternoon! (not to mention getting out of work a few hours early :3DSMILE: )

Cheryl and I would like to thank all of the NorCal Cobra members that attended the car show at Cisco this afternoon. Cisco hoped to raise $1500.00 today for the March of Dimes for Babies and they collected $2800.00!

Thanks again to all that attended.

I saw a super cherry red cobra, maybe factory five, on 99 by mack road exit that day. It had dual black roll bars, chromed fuel cell...anybody here or at the show? If so great looking car, the guy next to me almost ran me over trying to roll the window down.
