It turned out to be a really nice day. It was a pleasure meeting you guys. Even though I was carrying my camera all day, I only took this picture.
http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i1...c/DSC05348.jpg Thanks Jerry for guiding me to the I-80. I-80 was smooth sailing until I got to Albany and then it was bumper-to-bumper until I got to the 880 ramp. Till the next time, Curtis |
Nice pics Phil.... hope to be able to post some this eve. Nice riding with you and the gang. It seems to be an annual event now. :)

John, How do you like this car? Alan

Alan,
It always seems too short but it was good to see you there. Maybe we can catch up at CH1. Thanks for the pic too, yeah, nice car :-)) Talk soon, John |
Ch1
A group will leave for Aptos Thursday Sept. 24 at 9:30 AM from Brookfield's Resturant, located at Folsom Blvd. and Sunrise Blvd. off Hwy 50. A drive over the Golden Gate, and then south, will be the route................... Alan
If interested in this group, it would nice to have a head count. Don't want to leave anyone behind, if a little late. |
John....Is that a Corvette? Also...do you have beer in Vino?
|
Yes it is Tom but Ford powered '-)

I suspect John didn't reply because it's a very long, complicated, and somewhat personal answer. Depending on ones experience with creating something from a scratch vision, it still might not make sense to most. The result is about as far from the word or concept of "kit" as one could probably get. I would not even refer to it as a custom car, because to me that implies an existing car was customized or modified. The photo is good, but it does not capture the other 75% you cannot see in the picture. Truly an awe inspiring amazing piece of work. One of a kind functional art - is what I think every time I see it. |
Ch1
Who is for the Golden Gate drive to CH1?
John's Cobra is more of a race car for the street.............. one of a kind! |
