Need help
Hello;
Need to get my SPF aligned and 4 corner balanced in Vallejo/ Benecia area. Can anyone help me locate a reliable shop? Thank you, Milan |
I know you mentioned you are in the Vallejo/Benicia area, but Custom Alignment 2599 Wyandotte St unit A Mountain View 94043 650 961-5311 knows SPF’s very well. It’s Joe Silva’s shop. He will align, corner balance and do any suspension modification requested. He is on the board of Directors for Norcal SAAC, as well as a member of OTEC (Open Track Executive Committee) that inspects cars prior to going out on the track. He was a pit crew member of last year’s Robertson Racing which fielded 2 Ford GT 40’s finishing 2nd at Lemans in the GT class. He will set your car up correctly. But as I said he is in Mountain View. I wouldn’t trust your Cobra to some yo-yo who thinks he can do it. Just my opinion.
Good luck. One other thing, If you are a (premium) member of AAA they will flat bed your anywhere up to 200 miles, the next grade down I think is 100 miles. I’m a premium ($85.00/per yr) member, I did a sneaky thing once (last year) I had them flat bed my car to Monterey. I told them there was a Weber specialist who was visiting, and I needed my car there as it was not drivable. So they did! |
