Forks Washington Drags
saturday Larry Reece took out his Super Performance and together we drove to Forks to the West End Thunder 1/8 mile drags and show and shine. drove north up 101 big mistake 20 miles of gravel on highway out side of Port Angeles-after the drags we went 112 east along the north shore past Joyce-went through many twisty sections like none I've ever seen-was wishing there was a video recorder cause these roads are posted something like 25 mph curves that are tight and fast for our cars and plenty of em with nothing around but forest lands. if anyone ever wants to make a movie of cobras in cornering mode-this is the road. oh yes the fastest car we watched at the drags-1/8 mile was 128 at 5.56 -these are serious machines.
