Has anyone shipped a car from WA to Los Angeles?

Hi,
Buying a car from the other side of the world has it's challenges, not the least is actually buying a car sight unseen.
In any case, I have found a car that is just a few miles outside Seattle. As much as I would LOVE to fly in from Australia to drive the 1100 miles down the entire West Coast to the wharf in Long Beach, Cali, I don't even know what licensing and registration issues there might be. I've been to a lot of states in the US, but never the upper north western states. It looks beautiful, but without knowing all the potential pitfalls, I don't want to be driving a car without full registration and insurance.

Which leads to my questions - Has anyone shipped a Cobra from WA to Southern California in the last little while?

Would you recommend any particular shipping company?

Was it reasonable priced, or pretty expensive?

I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Thanks!

Craig:

The only company I have used is InterCity Lines, and would use again. Their web site has a " Request a Quote "

Will at least give you a reference point for comparison to other comparable transport companies.
