Hi John-I used Fortes's Parts Connection-they are a Factory five forum web site vendor-everything you'll need comes with them for 2 seats 170.00-let me know if you need a phone number-Summitt also sells heaters-not sure of their design but these are pretty easy to install even in my Kirkey highback seats-if we were closer I'd be up for another install-low back seats would be easier.

I have them in mine as well. They're a "must have" item according to my wife.

Well that didn't take long.

Congratulations.

However I'm sorry to lose a big block brother.

Long story....Wasted about a day of my life yesterday! The buyer just flaked out on the deal. So much for a hand shake deal. The car is back on the market again.

Oh so many Tire Kickers. In the last year or so I've been real disgusted with selling. Everyone wants to get a deal.

I think that is why I have 9 cars, I never sell as I can't stomach buyers.

I sold a rust free 66 Mustang Fastback last July for 24k. I had a guy offer me 15k for it after he drove it, looked it over on my lift and knew my asking price was 25k. An entire afternoon shot.

Some people make a HOBBY out of lookin' at other people's "stuff".......home buyers are notorious for wasting your time while they "scope out" your stuff!!!

About 7 years ago I wanted a Superformance so bad I could taste it but now mine Classic Roadsters car is for sale as I'm "Thinnin' The Herd"!!:)

Good Luck with your sale!!:D

Beautiful car, good luck with the sale.

Jake 03-23-2011 06:16 AM

Thanks! I have another pending sale. Waiting for the funds to come through. It appears the car will be going to Germany. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Well one more flake. This is getting old. Once again purchase price was agreed on and I was awaiting the payment and nothing. I have bought and sold a large number of cars in my life and have never experienced such a lack of integrity in buyers. This is starting to look like a bad trend. I guess verbal agreements don't hold the water they once did.

Jake,

Awesome car. May I ask what size tires you’re running?

Bob

Jake 04-04-2011 09:33 AM

Bob, the tires are 295/50's and 255/60's.

I am looking at purchasing Jakes car. Has anyone seen and know anything about it? Typical questions: How does it look in person? Tight or loose? Quality? Care? Etc?

I have spent a few hours on the phone with Jake discussing his car but a third party opinion would be great before I fly up to see it.

Thank you all
