Cobra friendly body shop and repair shop in PDX Area?
I have a customer that bought a used Backdraft through us a few months ago. He lives in Happy Valley, OR. In transport the soft top frame somehow did a little rubbing on the body and left 2 small chafe marks that he needs to get spot painted and blended (very small). I guess he took it to a couple shops and they were throwing huge estimates at it.
From the photos my local guy put the repair under $200. Want to help this guy out, anyone know a friendly and fair shop in the region? Also looking for a basic repair shop for him for ongoing maintenance while owning the car, so any suggestions there would help him as well. Thanks |
I've got a guy just across the river in Wahsougal, WA. Bud Wenick - Silver Star Street Rods. 360-837-1250 He's been building street rods and Cobra replicas for many, many years. Should be able to help with any paint work and maintenance you need.

Another recommendation for Bud @Silver Star Streetrods. He is the one that built my Shell Valley. He has won many awards for their paint jobs. Plus its a great windy fun road up to his place off Washougal River Road. Great guy to know.
