gear oil weight

I'm getting ready to put my 9 inch ford rear end back together.
What weight of gear oil should I use. Thanks Jay.

I always use Royal Purple 85/140 synthetic racing type gear lube.

Hi,
I use Torco 85W140. Also you must use 4 ounces of friction modifier for Ford possi rear ends. You can get it at any dealer or supply house.
Perry.
