Lost in a Time Warp

I stumbled onto a 73 Trans Am, just like the one my wife and I used to "date" in. As soon as I get it restored and the wife back in it:rolleyes::3DSMILE: I will sell it to get another Cobra.

If you think Cobras are expensive, you otta try Pontiacs%/

Thinking of you all,

Scott S

For similar nostalgic reasons.....

I am restoring my 1974 Scout 2 4 x 4 (mostly interior and off road goodies, and a roof rack)

My dad had a similar Scout, same color, when I was 17/18 years old.... and I sure liked it for dates. I removed the back seat for such purposes :D
My wife and I dated for months in that scout, and the one I have now is a keeper, what a rugged old critter it is:p

My wife is more beautiful than when she was 17...and that takes some doing... And she is looking forward to my incoming road serpent...I am blessed :)

Yeah...

Paint it gold and put the screamin' chicken on the hood and it will look just like Ponch's car on CHIPs! I think he wrecked his and bought a Mini after that. You can go down to Value Village and get some polyester slacks and gold chains and start listening to disco... **)

Does that motivate you to get back from the dark side at all?
Is this a mid-life crisis?

Heeeyy....!

What- are ya trying to SAY about our polyester slacks and disco music?

Remember wearing paisley shirts? :p

Scott

It is good to hear from you. Have fun with your new project. Is it running , if not, how long till you are on the road. The sun is about to pop out here in Oregon. Red ERA ll is getting close to being done. Hope to see you this summer.

Take Care
Tim

It is a totally stock unmolested TA, ever vacume line is in place and it has never been wrecked. I am having the engine "worked over" but I intend to keep it as stock as possible. This car came out of Arizona 15 years ago and has been in a garage in Bend ever since.

I just couldn't pass it up.

Scott S

No Neal, it will stay red.
