Great Idaho Cobra Run pictures
I pared down the 100+ pictures we took to 11. I didn't want to suck up all the NWCC photo gallery memory.

Man I wish I could've gone.....My car/engine is still in the shop (it's only been a month and a half).....I figure by sometime next year I'll be able to have fun with you guys....No, I'm not bitter at all.
I really miss you guys, and it sounds like you all had a blast! Rich, I can set up an FTP share that you could just bulk upload all the pics to, and then I'll get'em in the gallery if you want. |
Great pics. Thanks for the post.

Very Nice!
Rich,
Nice job on the Post-Trip recap! The only complaint I have is that it makes those of us who did not attend CRY louder  And a couple of questions....... Why is eveyone in coats? :3DSMILE: I will be new at this Cobra cruise thing (soon hopefully  ) and the only other event I have seen pictures from is the crew that went from California to Vegas. They were all in short sleeves, sunglasses and reversed baseball hats? How should one dress while driving a Cobra? Mike |
Mike,
"Why is everyone in coats?" Because, at the speeds we were travelling, bug strikes are like being hit with a small stone. Just look what that gnat did to Fred's windshield! We needed to protect every square inch of exposed skin. "...the only other event I have seen pictures from is the crew that went from California to Vegas. They were all in short sleeves, sunglasses and reversed baseball hats? Good question Mike. In the desert southwest they have dry bugs. When a dry bug impacts, there's a small puff of dust. We, in the great northwest, have wet bugs (see above). "How should one dress while driving a Cobra?" For bugs. All of these questions, and more, would have been answered if you'd gone with us. Rich |
I get it!
Rich,
Thanks so much for your answers. I completely "brained" it on the bug thing. I rode motorcycles for many years and just plain forgot about the bugs. That's exactly why I wore a leather jacket. Those big white bugs at higher altitude can really be a pain in the a$$! :3DSMILE: I am sure that's what must have happened to Zderf's winshield. Just too dam many white bugs to dodge at one time! Still in my crying state.... Mike |

I REMEMBER THIS...
I just lost my new billet passenger wiper.... managed to snatch it just before this pic was taken. Glad we were under 100mph or it would have been gone forever. Geeze Mah Knees it was brutal. Froze to the bone.
Great shot Neal... its now wallpaper!! (People can't believe we did it!) Thanks.. Zderf :3DSMILE: |
A little reminder
After experiencing a 100 degree day yesterday I though a quick memory of rolling through Snoqualmie Pass one week ago is warranted...

Hey Rich, I went ahead and increased your image upload quota so you can upload the pics.
|
I added some more pictures to the gallery.
Thanks for the extra space Brent! Rich |
