Saw a old friend today...
Went to a local Saturday Night cruise-in and my old Cobra was there. It has been nearly a year since I sold it and I noticed it has been re-plated from SWEET to BEEEST. The owner was hovering around like we all do, I asked about getting burns from the sidepipes, how he liked the 427w and just the general stupid Cobra ?'s we all have gotten. I finally had to tell him who I was, I have been a bit leary about meeting up with the owner again, you know, does he have any complaints, is he sorry he bought it, am I jerk?
He was very happy to see me:D I got to meet his wife and even she liked me:3DSMILE: :3DSMILE: I had a very nice time, now all I got to get used to is the guys with the Mullets and thier toothless girlfriends climbing all over my Trans Am:JEKYLHYDE You will not believe the difference in the people that like Cobras and the Muscle Car fanatics%/ . Good news is that I plan to have a Cobra kit in the shop in the next week or two.:D :D Missing you all, Scott S |
