Our planned yearly run/toy drop got rained on too, and we tried for two weekends in a row and had to cancel the run this year - unfortunately.
After seeing your pictures (with the top on) makes us in the NorCal Cobras local club look like a bunch of sissies. None of us have tops here, but it looks like a nice feature though. I still managed to find a small window of 40 minutes to take the car out between showers yesterday, after not driving it for two weeks. You'd think I was going through withdrawals or something. Some of us just can't get enough of it. Kind of funny when you think about it. :) |
I usually don't take it out in the rain. But I too am going through withdrawls as the rains come in. We have a small summer and winter parade here and my daughters like to go in the car and throw candy to all of the kids. I was the only car out there with about six fire trucks, girl/boy scouts ,few other small floats and Santa. The Christmas Parade is usually very short. My wife claims I use the girls wanting to be in the parade as an excuse to take the car out. She is probably right.
Have fun between rain drops. The top is nice if you want to go out when the weather is questionable. |
