XXX in RED
It was a brutally cold drive.. in the 30's, very light sprinkle at Oh dark 30 AM. I was wondering if I would strangle Roger C by the time I got there (@$%* 7:00am!!!). But he was safe..... he didn't show. ROGER!!!!
Anyway it turned our to be a beautiful day and the XXX was loaded with pent-up demand.... 100's of cars. The Cobra corral was blood red.... but Steven and Charlie finally dropped in to ad another splash of color. (There was this Yellow SPF that showed up sporting a big sign that said "THIS IS NOT A KIT CAR"... we never did figure that one out... and he wasn't too friendly so we didn't ask. Fred H... it was that same fellow spotted down your way last weekend .. and he parks next to me).. YIKES!!! :JEKYLHYDE I hit a wrong key here.. so the evidence of attendance is in the next reply... I want to thank some of the group that was out at the XXX. It was nice to have some of my questions answered by you. I am sure the same kind of questions come up over and over. Kelly sure helped give me some pointers on things to look for, we appreciated your time, thanks! Lisa and I enjoyed grabbing a burger and seeing all the great cars and the detail some showed, cars are art.
One of the guys mentioned a gathering July something in Puyallup? Sounded like it's a pretty big event? It was nice to meet some of you, seeing cars in person really helps also. Now I only have about 10,998 more things to consider before making the jump :-) |
Nice to catch up with a few of the NWCC folks. The bumblebee car was sharp but I had to laugh at the "Not a Kitcar" sign.
As I was leaving I though I heard the sound of a Chebby-powered Cobra. Sorry I missed you Bish. Had you given us for-warning I would have dragged you up to see the 40. |
