New Cobra Owner

Just bought a Superformance Cobra with a 514 ci engine. Can someone tell me about local club? I live in Bellevue. Charles.

Keep an eye out on this board. I don't think that the NWCC is that formal of a club. If it is I still don't know who the officers are or if any dues are required. Its pretty casual and everybody is great to hang out with.

Hope that you enjoy the Cobra and I hope to meet you at some get together soon.

Charles, I don't know of anything such as a local club, but like the previous post said, the NWCC are a great bunch of guys to run with. Nobody cares what kind of Cobra you drive. Go to the Local Club page and pull down the NWCC site. There are some SPF's in your neighborhood and Federal Way if you need tech assistance or general questions. Congratulations on the car and hope to see you sometime on the road in the future.

Hi Keith,

Congratulations on getting your car and welcome to the "club". We are a very formal, informal club. In other words, if you say you are a member, you are! The dues you are required to pay come in the form of showing up for any function that happens to "float your boat" and putting up with the general wisecracks and barbs of the members at large.

If you page back on this site, you will be able to see most of the things that we did during this past season. Anyone with an idea for a cruise or a get together will post it here and we go from there.

Again, welcome aboard.

Bish

Charles, welcome to the group.
Thank God you don't have a Bowtie in that thing.

Great question, I wont be receiving my car until next year at this time if I'm lucky. I would like to meet some owners and catch a fall car show before winter sets in. Is anyone aware of any events in the CT area? I'm willing to travel!! Thanks

Charles, welcome! There is definitely a very informal local club. We have no officers, dues, or bylaws, but we usually have a great time together...even in less than optimal conditions. Stay tuned to the NWCC forum for local events.

Joe, how far are you willing to travel?

Rich

Maybe you can use some "Frequent Flyer Miles".

I see you are in Danbury CT. I grew up in Carmel NY, just across the border from you.

Hope yo find some local guys.

Brian: Is she someone you know?! Geeez, if she got in your car she would have to rest those things on the dash!
.......BTW, I went for a ride with our friend Dave last weekend. You guys are right......BB is the way to go. Sooooooo much torque at low rpm's, makes it way more fun to "play" with around town. Heck, I may end up buying HIS car if he's serious about getting a new one with an alum. BB! Sounds like he's got "the fever" about adding more HP!!

Charles, welcome! Great choice on your car. Keep your eyes peeled and get together at one of the events. What a great group of folks with a common love.
