Red Cobra on I-5?
Saw Cobra, red with white stripe plus some type of a scoop cut-out and sticking out of the hood out on I-5 north of Vancouver around Noon hour today (Tue, Aug 17th)..... are you a Club Cobra member?

I assume vancouver, Washington? It wasn't me. I've got blue w/ White Wimbledon stripes. It might have been a guy who lives near me, named Scott. I think his is an '81 427, with only 6500 miles on it.

Yes, Vancouver, WA It should be easy to identify because of the cut-out in the top of the normal 427 hood scoop. I have not seen a car like that before. There was an aluminum air intake scoop sticking out of the top of the normal air scoop about 3 inches high or so. I do remember the car had black side pipes too. I was just wondering what engine setup was in the car with the air scoop sticking out like it was. Mike |
