Rainy day projects.....

I had a truck throw up some large rocks and killed my rad 20 miles from home last month, bad luck but it could've been worse if it happened 900 miles away on the California trip.
So I fixed that and got some aluminum grill mesh with 1/8" holes and have put screens across the front openings, hopefully that will offer some protection.
Also I just finished upgrading my puny stock alternator with a 140 amp powermaster ,nice unit.
Next project will be to coat the inner rear wheelwells with bedliner, getting some nasty stars in the paint, got to quit offroading with this thing!
Perry.

I plan on taking my mildly wild cobra and turning it into an all-out ground-pounding beast this winter. My 302 as it sits puts out 243 hp at the rear wheels through a T-5 to a 9" rear with 3.55 gears. I plan on installing a Kenne Bell Blowzilla/Flowzilla supercharger, 255lph fuel pump, Boost-a-pump system, complete MSD ignition system with boost retard, 90mm Mass Air and 90mm Throttle Body, 42# injectors, Auburn locker, and a T5-Z transmission with B&m Pro Shifter. I will tune the system using a Tweecer RT programmer and data logger. It is my hope to end up with over 450 HP at the rear wheels.

We will see how it all turns out.

I'm going to level my front to rear ride height first day of rain and I'm off work.

I've had it on the road three times three times. The first time I had to be towed back. The next two I made it back home but it was ruff. All with carbon fouled plugs .

Projects Completed...

Just finished complete detailing including wheel wells and undercariage. Fixed rear axle shaft leak, and finally the "from day one" trans leak.

All aluminum polished, leather treated, new logo mats, and fresh safety wire.

She'll never be sweeter.

Time to sell.

Interested parties?

Always,

Zderf
