Cruise Hoopd Canal
Cruise Hood Canal this Sunday Sept 10. Leaving Port Orchard at Sedgwick rd and SR16 Shari resturant parking lot 9:30am Leaving Seattle you can take the Narrows bridge at Tacoma or Fauntleroy Southworth ferry leaving Fauntleroy at 7:35 or 8:35am crossing time about 30mins fare 14.00 car drive. Bainbridge Seattle ferry leaving Seattle at 7:55AM OR 8:45 meeting us at Poulsbo 10:30am. I know where the market is on the main highway if not there name a place.
Drive north to Hoods Canal bridge and West to Highway 101 to Quileene south down 101 to Hoodsports and have lunch, side trip at Hoodsport up Lake Cushman rd to end of road {gravel } and back to Hoodsports. South on 101 to Canal Southshore rd back thru Belfair to Port Orchard. Those who want to go back via Olympia can split up at 101 and Southshore rd. Its about 125 miles around the canal.
