neede a Holley wizard in Tacoma area
I'm having problems with my dual Holley 1850 carbs . Idle seems OK. But in midrange it goes way rich. Spark plugs go black quickly . I'm sure there are people who know more about these carbs. I feel(if not) over my head , at least in the deep end. I'd like to get these carbs dialed in before winter gets here .

Mike I don't know of anyone in the Tacoma area but there is a guy up here on Bainbridge that knows holleys. Was Highly recommended by some of the muscle car and rodders from around here. I don't have his number but can get it if your interested.

Mike,
My advice?, chuck-em and put a set of Edelbrock's (Carter) on. Much easier to tune and work on especially with a dual quad set up because of the air door secondaries. I recommend their Thunder Series. If you can't part with the Holley's there is a guy in the buss park at 112th and Portland Ave. Can't remember his name but he is THE man in Tacoma. Ray |
