Wanting to look at some cobras in Wa or close
Hi,
My name is George and I have done some research on cobra kits. I am now ready to look at a few kits and was wondering if anyone would be interested in showing off their cobra?! I live in East Wenatchee WA, which is central Washington. I wanted to see what type of kits there are close to look at, before I spent money to go to the London Show. Although this would be a cool trip, it would be tough to work around my schedule and I would rather put the money into a cobra. I would like to see a Hurricane and Classic Roadster II, mostly because these are in my price range, but others like ERA, FFR, Backdraft Superperformance, ect. to see the differance in qaulity would be nice too. If there is a get together coming up this summer were a lot of these cobras come out please let me know. Many, Many Thanks, George |
Hi George,
Go to the Western States Cobra Bash in Sparks Nevada in May and you will be able to see lots of Cobras. WSCB is a lot closer for you than the London Show. Attendance is free for lookers and it won't take you near as much travel time. Most of the attendees will be glad to show off their cars and some would probably take you for a ride. I would be happy to give you a ride in my ERA. Dick |
If you plan a trip west of the mountains, get ahold of me. I'm in Gig Harbor and have a Hurricane.
|
George: WSCB is the place to go, approx 200 cars will be there.
If you make it look me up, I was born and raised in Wenatchee. |
George,
WSCB would be one place to look at many different Cobra. I have had a Cobra since 1992 and the new kits are some much better as far as build your own. I dont think it matters so much which one you get as how good a job you do building it. If you get a turn key thats a whole different deal. Also most guys never get to drive many different Cobras to see how they realy do on the street or track. Knotts Berry show in S. Calif. is coming up and thats a great place to look. If you get down Gig Harbor way give me call and I would be happy to talk to you. I have lots of pictures of last years WSCB and Knotts show if you send me a e-mail address I could forward some shots. ateal@wavecable.com. cell 360 731 2258. Andy |
There's quite a few FFR's right on the other side of Snoqualmie pass. I have a finished FFR, there's one being built close by, and a few other finished ones if you were ever in the mood for a short road trip.

George,
A few of us will be in Grand Coulee the weekend of July 7 & 8. The following weekend we will be in Leavenworth. |
I have a Backdraft in Sammamish...just shoot me a note if you want to see it. Sorry I don't check the club site too often. cory@corybrandt.com
