WOW - I'm hooked
Finally got tired of seeing "you have never posted to our site before". Anyway, I wanted to introduce myself and say HELLO to the Cobra family.
Bought a completed Lonestar Cobra with 1,700 miles on it last Dec. and spent the winter just taking it apart and puting things back together to learn the Cobra. Changed springs, shocks, rack and pinion, seats, shifter, sway bar, guages, and an assortment of things just to customize it for my tastes. Wow! I love this ride. It's everything and more than I imagined. I wanted something to enjoy and relieve some stress and something that wasn't going to cost an arm or a leg to modify or fix. I sold a '65 Mustang coupe to buy the Cobra. I've had an assortment of sports cars and muscle cars over the years and the Cobra is by far the best of the group. With the Northwest rains finally letting up I finally got the Cobra titled and I've put over 500 miles on it over the past 3 weeks. The Cobra has a 385HP 351W with a T5 tranny and this thing is a beast. It's hard to imagine with the kind of power to weight ratio that the Cobra's have, what some of the guys out there with 500+hp rides are like. I guess like everything else you get used to it and after awhile you get the hunger for more HP. This is a great forum and thanks to whoever started it and the people that contribute to it. I've learned so much over the past months. Mark |
Enjoy and keep it together.

Mark,
Welcome to the club. It only gets better! |
Thanks for welcome,
It's hard to imagine that it could get better than this. Work day is over, it's 64degrees, sunny, 2 1/2 hours of daylight left, and I've got a full tank of gas. |
Welcome Mark. Hope to meet you on one of the get-togethers that are planned this summer. Jake Greger always has great cruises planned for the NorthWest members. Sounds like you have an awesome car.
