Help with measurement on orignal 289 street car
I need to know the distance from the rear bumper chrome tube to the back of the trunk lid. Measured just to the left or right of the license plate. Hope this is clear enough. See drawing below. (a 427 original street car may have the same measurement or very close) I'm thinking this will be somewhere around 4-5 inches. Thanks for the help.

Hello Ron, With the tape touching the plate.......I have 3.00"........I hope this helps, regards, Karl

Karl, Just in case my license plate fits differently, could you get a measurement just left or right of the plate. And lastly, is your measurement to the center of the chrome bar or to the front edge? Thank you for the help.

sorry, The measurement was just off the edge of the plate, both sides measured 3.00" Only the edge of tape was touching the lic plate. I measured to the inside edge of the chrome bar. You are welcome, any time I can help please email, Karl
