Kim and I are heading down on the Wed. or Thurs. before the event. It depends on how late tech goes for the track day on Friday. If we have to be in early on Thurs. then we will leave Wed. We are looking forward to a few days away from the rat race.

We are leaving Tuesday and visiting friends on the way down. We expect to roll in to Sparks around mid-day. We should try to get together dinner or drinks before. May be a run to some place off site for dinner.

Dale, sounds good to me. We are still up in the air as to what day we are leaving. Kim just got a new job and is unsure if she can leave on Wed. or at all! One thing is for sure...I will be going.

We finally got are ducks in a row and we are leaving town around 0700hrs on Wed. the 14th. I am going to drive straight through to Reno. If that sounds like the same time frame for anyone heading down let me know and we will meet up on I-5 somewhere. It is always good to have a caravan! We will be heading back home around the same time on Sunday. Kim was able to get the time off, so I will not have to go solo this time. Fred loaned me some track tires so I should be in rare form on Fridays track day. Thanks for the sponsorship Team Hamilton...You forgot to tell me where to submit my fuel receipts for the trip.

Can I go to the Cobra bash in Reno?
Hello everyone, wasn't sure what the clubs rules were but, could I attend race day, on Friday as a spectator or maybe to help out @ the event that day. I can't make it there on Saturday to see the car show but, I thought I could view them in action, even better! Thanks!

Just send the gas slips to my address in Yuma. We are planning on leaving Yuma on Wed and head to Sacramento to pick the the car up from Tom Lucas. Head to Reno on Thur AM. Brent Nothing would have kept Jake out of the dirt when you forget to let up on the load pedal. |
