Gax tax pushed over $6
Hi,
Our wonderfull government has a new "carbon" tax at the pump. This has pushed our reg gas to $ 6.02 a US gal. Premium gas is now $ 6.54 a gal. Welcome to Canada, just bring lots of money. Perry. |

I was feeling bad about filling up the BMW with Premium gas ($4.55 U.S. gal.) until I read your post. I still don't feel good but you have my sympathies. |
It's well worth it for me...
I am lucky enought to spend a month or two a year in BC/Alberta...it is a paradise with magificent uncrowded coasts, mountains, wildlands and international cities. That Ice Parks road to Jasper has got to be at least very close to the # 1 Cobra Road in the whole world. This year, I will be driving up to Prince Rupert to take the Ferry to Skagway and will return via the Cassiar.....in a jeep !!!
