Extension of the Run to the Sun?????
I was discussing with Jake the possibility of continuing on for a day or two after we leave Sun Mountain; is anyone interested? Possible route would be down 97 to Cle Elum, maybe to Yakima along the river.
Let me know if anyone is interested. Regards, Dale McBain SPF #469 |
Love to join you, but I'm heading to Portland and then on to California.
|
Mike and Heather have made reservations and look forward to the trip.

Thanks All. Bye, Dale |

Run to the Sun 2009
Hello, we hope everyone is well.
Sun Mountain Lodge provided a list of those that are registered for the "NW Club Cobra Run To The Sun" as of April 30th. The list with the shirt tally: -Steve & Eileen Bisson- (We need your shirt sizes) -Jake & Kim Greger- (One shirt; Kim we need yours!) -Mark & Rita Laine- (We need your shirt sizes) -Mike & Heather Roush (Two shirts) -Jeff & Diania White- (Two shirts) -Dale & Gloria McBain- (Two shirts) The following have indicated they are coming on the run, but the Lodge does not have them listed with our group, you may want to contact the SML: -Silverback 51- (Two shirts) -Stinson Pilot- (We need your shirt sizes) For those who have not provided shirt sizes please do or confirm you don't want a shirt. Ladies, the shirt is a golf shirt, not a stinking tee shirt. Suitable for any formal ocassion. This years shirt will be different in color and design from last year; so please advise shirts sizes. I will be there.

No shirts for Mark and Rita. We have a conflict with this run so we will make a final decision in a couple of weeks. If anyone wants to go, please get in touch with us and we can maybe transfer our reservation.
We want to do a trip and our schedule is for a run to Baker Oregon on July 9-12. Unfortunatly this is just two weeks before The Run to The Sun. Steve and Penny are with us and we would love some company. I will make a new post about that trip. Mark and Rita |
Dale, Kim will pass on a shirt.

Run Notes and Details
OK. The shirt tally has been completed.
Getting to Sun Mtn Lodge on Friday- For those who want to join up with Gloria & I, we will be starting from Jake's Cafe in Snohomish. We'll get there around 9:30 for breakfast, and leave there around 10:30. We will head north taking back roads as much as possible, then Hwy 20 to SML. Those of you who can't make it to Jake's, we'll see you somewhere along the road or at SML. The bar has been alerted that we will be descending on them Friday after 5:00. We need to decide if we want to eat at the hotel Friday night, pub fare at the SML bar or go into Winthrop. Dicey if we spend to much time in the bar. We have reserved the Wine cellar at SML for the groups dinner on Saturday evening. The wine cellar is a private dinning room that will cost each of us an additional $10 for dinner, this is the only way we can all dine together at SML Saturday. The run on Saturday from SML we should discuss Friday when we are all together. Let me know if you have any suggestions for Friday dinner or the run on Saturday. Bye for now, Dale |
Shirts
The shirts have been ordered. The final total for the shirts is not available yet, but the cost will be close to $25 each.
