Dave Lowell - Needs well wishes

I hadn't talked to Dave in awhile and called him to see if he wanted to go to Doug's garage gathering. He told me he was in the hospital. He has acute leukemia and is receiving treatment this week. He will stay in the hospital for 2-3 more weeks while he regains his white blood cell count. He looks and sounds good and has a great attitude. Dave has had a tough year with the passing of his wife and is looking forward to more C*bra activity this year.

Nate and I went to visit him last night and I know he would love to have anyone stop by and bs about cars. He has done a lot of mods to his FFR that I bet no one has ever done. Some pics below show his car (before he made a few more mods and painted again). He is on the 12th floor at Swedish (747 Broadway). Please feel free to stop by (no flowers its a sensitive floor) unless you are sick yourself. If you would like to call him, let me know and I'll give you his room and phone number.

Great Post. I don't know Dave, but hope he is doing better. If we can get a group together perhaps a cruise to the hospital would be nice? Just a thought.

Any help is well spent on him. I have just spent a year keeping my buddy's business together while has been fighting tongue and throat cancer. Outside help for a guy on his own is a major necessity.

UPDATE: I talked to Dave last night and he is not feeling the best. The treatment has him wore down and he is very tired. He still has 2-3 weeks of recovering.

Hoping for a speedy recovery so Dave can join us this summer for some get-togthers.

Jim
