Anyone from the Portland area go the Wednesday Beaches cruise in at PIR?
Right now it looks like I have to be in Portland for a meeting on Thursday, so I'm thinking about heading down on Wednesday and going to PIR.

From what I hear you will not be glad you went. A friend of mine goes every wed. and he said they had about 1200 cars last week. I wish Pacific raceway had a program like PIR.

I'm going to try to make it this Wed. I have never been before but heard alot of cars show up. If you go look for Black with silver stripes.

Hopefully I get a chance to meet you. I am new to cobra family as I purchased mine in late Aug. Due to being out of town for work or the wonderful rainy and snowy winter I didn't get to spend to much seat time. This spring and summer is a different story. I don't post much but am always lurking. I just ordered some wheels and tires from Vintage should see in about 2 weeks. This site has been very good for products or knowledge of the cobra's.

Come on Local cobra members I can't be the only one that will be going to PIR on Wed. July 1st for Beaches get together. Maybe we can get a few more and meet up early or try to get together at the track for a meet and greet. The weather should be perfect.

check ffcobra.com on the Northwest forum. Sounds like a few guys from Cascade cobras are planning on meeting up there.

Seen your car Matt, but did not see you. Sorry we did not get to meet.
Your car looked great.
Met another Yellow and Black Cobra owner, that was also named John. This really caused some confusion for another person I was supposed to meet up with for the first time. Don met this guy and asked if his name was John, it was and Don started in like he knew who it was. Wrong John. Oh well, when we met up we had a good laugh about it.
Hope to meet you sometime in the future.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to meet with you. Thanks for the comments on my car. The show was good with alot of different vehicles showing up. I am sure I will be back next Wed. Let me know if you get back down again for the show.
