Follow up on September meeting.
I could not help notice that noone really jumped at the thought of being the Ohio president of the Cobra Club. After some consideration I would be willing to take on that role, if there is noone else that is interested in the position. I really don't think anyone would mind, however, I don't know if others are interested--
SO, if you are wanting to be president or hold another office, I would suggest you jump in here and put your name in the hat-- we are planing another meeting in Janurary--I suggest we put this issue on the agenda for that meeting--a good deal of organizational skills, energy and a commitment to our mission are essential. Hey Aaron, nice to see you in the forum! Now, you can turn into 'pooter potatoes like the rest of us!:p I think you'll find this to be a great resource, as well as a convenient communication tool. Brent has done a super job with this site.
While I just don't think I'll have the time to assume a "leader" role, I will help this club in any way I can. Thanks for expressing interest! Perhaps, as Mike mentioned, this is an issue we can secure in January. Anyone else who may be interested could post here, so we can all keep track. Frank, are you still interested in being the "Central" guy? That's probably an issue we could agree on as a sub group. What does everyone think? Again, I pledge my support in any way I can. Sounds like things are really taking shape! Mike, is Brent going to put us in the Local Clubs section now as Ohio Cobra Club? It will be nice to be "official" !!:3DSMILE: Dave |
I'm avaliable to help in any way possible. I'm in the same position as Dave, not able to assume a leadership role at this time, but certainly able to lend a hand to get OUR club and sub chapter established.
Lots of oppertunity for everyone to get involved and therefore Judy and I will be more than happy to help. How would you all feel about a newletter? Judy and I have some experience w/this and would be willing to put some ideas on paper and see where it goes. Thoughts? Also, It was great meeting everyone at Dave's Place.
