Machining and fabricators and bears, oh my!
Out there DV???
I am need of some machining to a pair of hubs and some one to make up some caliper adaptors for me. Know of any good quality, fair priced shops? I gave up trying to fit OEM rotors to the front of my car and am adapting a Wilwood kit to the front end. If I had a lathe, I would do it myself! Later I am going to want some suspension peices fabricated such as A-arms, sway bars, etc. For those really just need a good welder and some one to heat treat the bars. I can design and lay out the peices but don't know how to weld and I am not going to learn on suspension peices, least not on my car:LOL: Also, I spoke to Dick at Interior Restoration in Columbus a couple of weeks ago and am going to have him do some work on my car. Anyone have any experience with him? Thanks Please RSVP to me about Speeds on Jan 9. |

You might want to try Dallas Garage on McKinley and Trabue here in Columbus. He builds Cobras too! Frank SPF # 725 |
HUH !
Rick,
What the heck R U doing to a perfectly good car!? Also, there is a shop in Westerville that supposedly does good interior work. He does all of Bobby Rahal's race car work. If you're interested I'll hunt him down. BTW, how was Gatsbys? JC |
Heh Jerry
Just fiddling with this and that. My car has the older MG front end and understeers like crazy. I am only going to do what it takes to balance the car better and allow for some suspension adjustment. As for the brakes, the rotor that is supposed to fit doesn't so I am upgrading to the Wilwoods. Interior I met with the guy at Interior Restorations and am going to give him a try. Gatsbys was fun and we have a meet coming up at Speeds. Check the other thread.
