Baby Steps!
This past weekend I did a tune up on the Cobra! I changed the oil, oil filter, distributor cap,rotor and attempted the spark plugs. I had Les change the spark plugs, it was just to hard to reach some of them. I figure since my work schedule allows me more time to drive the cobra than Les's does, it was time I learned how to do these things to help keep her running smooth. And boy did she ever. It was 10:30 at night when I finished and I just had to test drive her. She ran like a champ after the tune up!:3DSMILE: :3DSMILE:

Gotta admit,,,,,,when I was first dating my (now ex) wife and discovered she had not only worked at a wrecking yard to pay for college but she was a pretty good "wrench" to.......I was in LOVE!
She's a chemist now, and the mechanical expertise she gained over the years has served her well in some of the more dangerous lab experiments she does. Or maybe she learned by watching me blow things up and start various fires and that time when........well, I digress. I always made her "nervous" when I was in the Lab. Oh, this looks cool, I wonder what would happen if....??? LOL Ernie |

Mike, I'll come over to Wadsworth and do a tune-up on your Cobra., just so you know I charge $30.00 and hour, get paid breaks and paid lunch. So far the plan is we're going down Fri. afternoon. What's your's and Franks plans. Maybe we can ride down together. |
